Views - Slider (Volo)

This view is used to create a slider. The slider has a single side to side swipe transition. Images in this slider area arranged on a sort of a carousel wheel arrangement and once the final image has been reaches, the images scroll quickly back to the first image. The parameters available for this view are as follows: 



Input data = Gallery 

Use GallerySelect the gallery (created previously) from which you would like to use to define the slider's content.
LinkCustom - This means that the link on the image will be that link set in the "Gallery Image Settings",
accessible via the edit gallery page. (edit image icon on each gallery thumbnail).
Attachment - This will overwrite any link set via the "Gallery Image Settings" page and instead the image
will automatically receive a link to the original version of itself, prior to resizing. This way you may display
large versions of images in a lightbox.


Input data = Posts 

Max

Set the maximum amount of posts to be shown. Leave this field empty for unlimited posts.
SelectionUse this control to manually pick posts to be included in the view.
CategoriesIncludes items in the view only from the selected categories.
TagsIncludes items in the view only featuring the selected tags.
FormatIncludes items in the view which correspond to the selected format.


Slider Settings 


DelayTime in seconds before the slider rotates to the next slide.
LayoutBoxed - A boxed slider behaves like a responsive image and resizes to fit the available space.
Full Width - A full width slider always full the full available width and upscales the images if they are smaller then the slider area.


Slider Link Settings 


TypeAuto - Automatically sets a slide link, for example is the input data is "posts" then clicking on the slide will take the user to the full post.
Fixed - Set a custom link for all slides.
None - Disables slide links.
Fixed LinkEnter the fixed link here for all slides. (if chosen from the above options)


Caption Settings 


TitleNone - No caption title.
Post Title - Use post title without linking to the post.
Post Title with Link - Use post title with a link to the post.
DescriptionNone - No description.
Post Excerpt - Use the post excerpt as the description.
Post Content - Use the post content as the description.
